Questions & Answers
Everything about visiting, memberships, gatherings, classes, and joining early. If your question isn't here, call or write; a person answers.
Visiting
You'll find us at 2541 Bulverde Road, Bulverde, TX 78163, on the US-281 corridor in the Hill Country just north of San Antonio. We share grounds with the Bulverde Market Days site, held the second and fourth Saturday of each month.
Our doors open in fall 2026. Founding Society members hear every date first, so if you'd like early word, reserve a founding place.
Regular hours will be published when we open this fall. Until then, the surest ways to reach us are by phone or text at (979) 236-1141 and by email at info@thefoxandtheowl.net.
Studio & Memberships
The Wilder is our curated creative studio: open studio time, storage for works in progress, The Warren for collaboration, and The Nook for quiet reflection. Read more on The Wilder page.
Wren is $100 a month, Sparrow is $165 a month with storage for works in progress, and Crow is $300 a month for the studio on your schedule, booked in 2 to 4 hour stretches. All rates are introductory pricing.
Studio memberships carry a three-month minimum, which is standard for art studios. After that, you can adjust your tier as your practice changes.
Yes. The Hummingbird is a $30 single day pass, good for four hours in the studio, and The Hummingbird Pass Pack is $250 for ten passes. Pass packs expire three months after purchase, so plan them around a season of making.
Clubs are our community layer: a single club is $20 a month and The Society is $50 a month, gathering people around shared interests. Studio memberships buy dedicated hours in The Wilder. Many members hold both; see Clubs & Memberships for the full picture.
Event Rooms
The Burrow hosts up to 40 guests, The Drey up to 20, and The Hollow up to 15. Each has its own character; the Event Space page walks through all three.
Rooms are booked in three-hour blocks: 9 to 12, 1:30 to 4:30, or 6 to 9. Blocks run $250 to $525 at introductory pricing, depending on the room and whether it's a weekday or weekend, and you can add an extra hour for 25% of your block rate.
Yes. Our add-on menu includes a craft instructor, tea service, tablescapes and décor, event coordination, and a catering referral, so the room can be dressed to the occasion before you arrive.
You're welcome to bring your own at no charge, or we can connect you with one of our licensed catering partners who can serve for you.
The Nest
The Nest is our children's studio, offering semester-long enrichment classes in story, art, and the natural world for ages 4 to 12 and up. Learn more on The Nest page.
The Nest offers instructional classes; it is not a licensed child-care facility and does not provide child care. Every session is a taught class with a planned curriculum and an instructor leading it.
Classes run on semester schedules, meeting Tuesday and Thursday during the day, which suits homeschool families especially well. Tuition is $150 a month at introductory pricing.
It's by design: older students mentor, younger ones discover, and every child finds a place in the group. Projects are structured so each age works at its own level.
Weddings & Coordination
We step in six to eight weeks out to take over vendor communications, hold two planning meetings, build your timeline, walk your venue, and direct the day itself with an assistant coordinator on hand. Coordination starts from $1,600 at introductory pricing; details live on the Weddings page.
Often, yes: a venue coordinator works for the venue, keeping its space and staff on track, while your personal coordinator works for you, managing every vendor and every hour of your day. The two roles complement each other rather than overlap.
The Founding Society
The Founding Society is a small, intentionally limited group of people who chose to believe in The Fox & The Owl before the doors open. Members receive everything in Society membership plus founding recognition, the annual visioning gathering, and first access to every workshop and event.
A founding place is $500 a year, or $45 a month with a one-year commitment. You can reserve yours on the Founding Society page.
It's credited toward your opening-day membership, so joining early is a head start rather than a separate purchase. Founding members also hear about every opening date and event first.
Ask us directly. We'd rather answer a small question now than have you wonder until fall.
